Big Wild Goose Pagoda is a famosu attractions and a must for Beijing to Xian Tour. It is a Buddhist pagoda located in southern Xian and was originally built in 652 during the reign of Emperor Gaozong in Tang Dynasty (618-907), it functioned to collect Buddhist materials that were taken from India by the hierarch Xuanzang. Now, The statue monk Xuanzang stands in front of the temple area.
For its fame in the Buddhist religion, its simple but appealing style of construction, and its new square in front of the temple, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda with a history of 1200 years attracts numerous visitors from home and abroad every year. It is listed as one of the National key Cultural Relics Preserves as well as an AAAA-level Tourist Destination.

Currently, the pagoda stands at a height of 64 metres (210 feet) tall and from the top it offers bird's views over the city of Xian. Beijing to Xian Tour can not miss this Big Wild Goose Pagoda.
