China is one of the oldest countries in the world with nearly 4,000 years history. With an area of 9,600,000 sq km it ranked as the third largest country in the world. China is abundant of a variety of resources, plants, animals, and minerals, the land has nurtured countless generations of Chinese people. On October 1st, 1949, the new China was founded as the 'People's Republic of China'. Since then, China has developed independently and vigorously. Most recently, reform and opening-up policy has energized life in China.

China spans a 62 degrees of longitude and 49 degrees of latitude, so the climate is extrmely different betwween north and south of the country. Most of China territory is located in the Temperate Zone and the weather was not too hot and has four distinct seasons. The southern part in the tropical and subtropical zones, the northern part near the Frigid Zone. So you will see different charming scenery is different seasons.

As an oldest country, it adopts a lot of amazing historical relics such as Great Wall, Summer Palace and Forbidden City in Beijing, Terracotta warriors in Xian and Potala Palace in Tibet. There are also modern cities and modern scenery in China, like famous Shanghai, picturesque Guilin and magical Jiuzhaigou and so on!
